Kendall's Bridal Shower was a Success

My Best Friend since the 4th grade, Kendall, is getting married and I found it only necessary to through her a bridal shower in our home town. We had a great turn out and lots of fun chat and food. She is going to be a darling bride. I can't wait for the 20th!!

It's A Girl!!!!!!!!!

Madison Tate Johnson was born 8-18-08 she was 6lbs 4oz 18 inches long. Mommy and baby are doing wonderful. Jason and Lauren couldn't be happier. They have waited a long time for this special day.
I am so happy for them.

"Vacations all I really wanted"

We have been enjoying summer a little too much. Jason and I were able to drive to Grandma and Grandpa Johnson's house to drop Haylee off so we could go on a little get away for 5 days. I told my mom the first time she watched Haylee for a weekend that she better be careful because I can get used to this vacation stuff. But she loves watching her every time. So Jason and I went to Seattle where he could do some work but yet we could still play. Then we went to Vancouver, BC and we were interrogated by the border control because A- We look like terrorist of course and B- they couldn't figure out why we would come from Las Vegas to Seattle to Vancouver for vacation. Little did they realize how beautiful and how many things there was to do there. We went to Stanley Park and some Fisher's Market and just enjoyed ourselves. But realizing every time we saw a baby we just missed Haylee more and more. After 2 days we went back to Seattle (such a beautiful drive!) and did the tourist thing there and Jason did more work and then we flew back to Vegas and I couldn't wait to see Haylee. I swear she grew in just 5 days. She stands on her own a little longer and eats solids. We had a great time and it was a much needed trip for the both of us. (Pictures will be coming soon)

County Fair Days Baby Contest

For fun we entered Haylee into a baby contest. The theme was 50's so I sewed a poodle to a skirt she was given. She looked so cute and loved the attention. She won most adorable do. Jennie was able to come up and Jason was able to sneak away from working on the garage to come support our little princess.


Some of her competetors ( the little one to the left was in a younger age group or else she would have one best do) They all were dressed so cute and each won something for a different catogory. Thay were all winners.
